Why do ticket prices for trains keep going up?
I travel alot to see Phantom, and i went to buy my tickets today to find out that they have gone up in price again... when i first started taking this train it cost around 20£ and now its up to 32£ how shocking is that? how do they expect to keep travellers if they keep putting the prices up and up and up...

Oh i know what you are talking about. Prices has gone through the roof for bus and trains here as well. It's almost more affordable to take the car instead of the train nowadays. Difference is that on trains you got wirelss network/internet, food, and everything :P And nice comfy chairs. lol :)
well... this is what the company had to say when i wrote to them on monday:
The fares are constantly monitored and reviewed. The information
on the website is always upto date so always shows the correct,
most recent, fares across all journey's.

and then they said how to get cheaper tickets - but what they did not do is answer my question! about why they keep going up in price...
